Sheetfed Printing - UV and Conventional
Blanket and Roller Washes
Rotowash 40 : aromatic free blanket and roller wash suitable for manual and automatic wash up applications of all sheetfed presses. Rotowash 40 contains effective corrosion inhibitors and carries approvals by major press and equipment manufacturers.
Rotowash 60-1482 : similar characteristics and properties to Rotowash 40, but non-flammable, with a flashpoint above 60◦C. Also approved by major press and equipment manufacturers including MAN Roland, Heidelberg, Oxi Dry, Baldwin and others.
Eurowash 40 : is a slightly water miscible wash with excellent cleaning power. It is designed to effectively clean blankets and rollers and will eliminate gum glaze. It has a flash point of 38-40°C.
Eurowash WM40 : is a more water miscible version of Eurowash 40.
Fast Wash : a non water miscible version of Fast Wash WM. Used by printers who prefer a low cost, non water miscible wash.
Fast Wash WM : a low cost, water miscible blanket and roller wash containing some aromatics with a flashpoint of 38-40°C. Fast Wash WM should be used by those customers who prefer a lower cost alternative to Rotowash 40 or 60-1482.
UV Blanket and Roller Washes
Multiwash 10/10 : a versatile, and highly effective UV wash, suitable for UV inks, coatings and varnishes. Can be applied manually or in automatic wash up systems. Multiwash 10/10 is also suitable for cleaning photopolymer stereos.
UV Wash 1076 : is a blanket and roller wash effective in cleaning UV ink and coatings. It is suitable for use both as an automatic and manual wash. UV Wash 1076 contains a combination of high quality organic solvents, surfactants and corrosion inhibitor. It is formulated with utmost conisderation for safety of operators and press manufacturer criteria, without compromising performance.
UV Envirowash : a blanket and roller wash that effectively cleans both UV and conventional inks and is non-flammable with flash point above 60°C.
Fountain Solutions
Impulse RA : has been specifically designed for alcohol reduction or elimination on sheetfed presses. It can also be used on web presses without alcohol. Impulse RA is compatible with CTP plates and provides exceptionally fast starts and restarts.
One Step Fount : has been developed to keep pace with increasing quality and productivity demands of sheetfed printing. It eliminates the need for the use of alcohol as a second part system.
Alkolex : a non-flammable alcohol alternative. Can be dosed directly into the diluted, press ready fountain solution. 1% Alkolex will replace 8-10% of IPA, without any adverse effects on press performance or on the print quality. Alkolex is a safe and a very cost effective alternative to IPA.
Stabilat D2010 : is a modern fountain solution, based on the latest German technology, formulated to keep pace with the increasing quality and productivity demands of the printing industry. Stabilat D 2010 is specifically designed for sheetfed printing, for use on a wide range of presses, with or with out alcohol dampening. It performs well with conventional or UV inks.
Pressroom Consumables
Aqua Dampkleen : a water based, biodegradable formula, suitable for cleaning all types of dampener sleeves. Will remove emulsified ink, paper build up and all other contaminants. Aqua Dampkleen is very concentrated and at a 1:10 dilution can also be used as a general purpose all round cleaner and floor wash.
Aqua Gum Washout : the only gum wash out on the market, which will not damage unbaked positive plates. Aqua Gum Washout is suitable for plate washout and gumming of plates for short and long term storage. The product has a pleasant odour, is free from aromatic hydrocarbons, is very stable and non-flammable
DLI Wash-TS : a relatively new, waterbased, non toxic, biodegradable product, formulated for the cleaning of dampening rollers and turbo systems of presses. Dampening rollers and Turbo systems, when cleaned with DLI Wash TS, will become very water receptive, considerably increasing the rate of water transfer to the plate, resulting in lower press water settings, better and broader ink-water balance and more efficient function of the fountain solution.
Euro Decalcer : a waterbased product, designed to remove calcium and other mineral deposits and build up from printing rollers and blankets. Calcium is often a cause of roller glazing, and roller stripping. Euro Decalcer will effectively, safely and rapidly remove all such roller and blanket contaminants. It should be used as a regular roller and blanket maintenance product.
Turbo Clean : is a highly effective dampening system cleaner and sterilizer. It is an acidic solution containing a blend of solvents, surfactants and powerful biocides. Turbo Clean completely cleans the fountain solution tank, circulation lines and trays. Turbo Clean sterilizes the system by killing fungi, bacteria and algae present in the tank, circulation pipes and hoses. It also dislodges and flushes out ink, sludge build up and deposits in the system.
Turbo Flush : is a powerful alkaline dampening system cleaner. The function of the product is to clean the fountain solution tank, circulation lines and trays. It is an alkali based cleaner (pH 11) that destroys fungi, bacteria and algae, present in the tank, circulation pipes and hoses. It also dislodges and flushes out ink and sludge build up in the system.
Unigum : a universal, high solids gum, suitable for pre press or on press gumming applications. Unigum is a synthetic gum, which can be diluted 3:1 and used as a direct substitute for Gum Arabic Solution without any risk of plate blinding. It can be used in plate processors and for long or short term plate gumming on the press or for plate storage. It is very economical due to its high concentration.
Universal Plate Cleaner : has excellent cleaning properties and is suitable for both positive (baked) and negative plates. Will not damage the anodising layer of the plate. The product has a pleasant Eucalyptus scent, is free from aromatic hydrocarbons, will not separate on storage and is non flammable.

Inks and Coatings
Waterbased Coatings : Water based coatings cover a wide range of applications to exact specifications in both single-sided and double sided formats and DS Chemport can offer special effect water based coatings using the latest innovative technology.
Apart from the highest gloss products, water-based coatings applied to certain stocks give comparable results to UV Lacquers in finish. They also have other substantial advantages such as; they are readily applied in-line wet-on-wet, over conventional inks and give a consistent finish on printed and non-printed areas.

UV Coatings : DS Chemport UV coatings are manufactured from the highest quality raw materials imported from Europe to give excellent results while meeting the most stringent health and safety criteria. All raw materials used follow the acrylate preference criteria guidelines.
The presscoat range includes UV coatings for rollercoat application, anilox and gravure coating units, modified damping systems, ink duct systems and silk screen presses.
